Why Wool Needs Less
How to Care for Wool — and Why It Lasts
Choosing quality materials is only the first step.
How you care for them is what allows them to stay with you.
Wool is naturally resilient, adaptable, and low-maintenance — when treated with intention rather than routine.
Wool fibers are naturally breathable and odor-resistant.
They regulate moisture and release heat efficiently, which means they don’t need frequent washing.
In many cases, air and time are enough.
A simple rest between wears allows the fiber to recover its shape and freshness.
General Care
For most Merra & Muse garments (excluding cashmere), placing the item in a laundry bag and using a gentle wash cycle with cold water is sufficient.
